'Comedy' is an acronym for 'COntext Menu EDitor
utilitY'. You can right-click on a file to bring up the context
menu, which Comedy adds a function to: 'Edit file(s)'. If you
select this, the file is opened in the editor you choose (default
is Notepad, but you can change that with the file 'comedy.cpl').
There, you are free to make any changes to the file you desire.
'Comedy' seems more like a tool for someone who's knowledge of
computers is fairly extensive. Opening a file in a text editor is
useful only if you often want to manually edit HTML files, batch
files, configuration files, etc. If this is the case, Comedy is
bound to be a useful utility for you. Otherwise, you can just
drag the file to Notepad or Word or whatever, and it does it for
you.
