I don't usually review games, because I think
everybody has different preferences for games. But I
can't help myself not to review this one.
Diaggle was already being advertised since July 1996, and was
described as similar to Tetris. I
believe during the early days of the release Diaggle was quite
popular.
I got my copy just several days ago. I installed it, ran it, and
got disappointed, very disappointed. I
was expecting something quite similar to Tetris, after testing it
I hardly see any resemblance besides
the falling objects, and they'll disappear if you assemble them
right
The objects have only one shape : triangular, and there's only
two color red and green (plus a
wildcard). What good is a wildcard between 2 colors?
Game area is small, control is terrible,
sound is no good. You can suddenly get stuck and
the
game ends. The objective is unclear, also the rules. You have to
read the help thoroughly first.
Diaggle is definitely a major waste of bandwidth to me. I didn't
even bother to contact the
developers. Soleau probably has better games, it doesn't mean
that they're no good just because I
said so.
Finally, I'd like to apologize for being so negative, but I do
think this review is objective.
