Dominoes is the classic dominoes game where you try to get the ends to add
up to multiple of 5's. You can play against the computer are with others over the
Internet. They have a page set up where you get ICQ numbers of other Dominoes players. The
main game window has a window at the top where the dominoes are played (either by right
clicking on drag and drop), a window showing your dominoes at the bottom and a window to
the right showing the backs of your opponents dominoes and your scores using the b Using
Options you can set Dominoes up to suit your taste and skill level. Games options is where
you can set it up to play with 2, 3, 4 as individuals, or 4 as teams players. You can also
set the number or points per game, the number of tiles to start with, and the number of
doubles to allow re shuffle. Other game options are First hand draw for down or player
with the highest double and Successive hands take turns, player who dominoes last, or
player with the highest double. There is also a button to Highlight and text. The color
switches back to the default colors when you exit unless you register the program. Other
options are enable sounds, optimize table layout, last domino played, play speed, hand
domino size, table domino size, scoring style and begin network game.
This is a nice domino game. It isn't easy to find a domino game that plays by the
traditional rules with the multiple of 5 scoring method but this one does. The shareware
version does not come with any specific evaluation period. It also come bundled with the
Win42 domino game which it installs at the same time into the same directory. You can
register this program via snail mail. You have to register each game separately or you can
choose to get the registration code for both Dominoes and Win42.
