It’s a file manager. No, it’s an ftp
program. Actually, FileMaster is both. And it does a great job at
both of them. At start up (after the register reminder), the
program prompts you to choose between three viewing styles:
Filemaster, Explorer or File Manager. The style you choose
depends on what you want to do. For ftping, I would recommend the
"FileMaster" style. For browsing, copying, moving
files, etc. on your hard drive either the "Explorer"
style or the "File Manager" style will do. I personally
use a file manager as well as an ftp program on a daily basis so
FileMaster comes in handy because it combines both programs into
one. FileMaster has just the right amount of features to make it
simple enough for any computer novice to learn and is great for
everyday use.
Installation was a breeze and the only
complaint I have is the nagging register reminder every time you
start the program.
