If your looking for a program to test your child on their knowledge, you should check this
one out. The tests work with multiple (4) choice questions, very simple and easy to use.
There is also a option to print random paper tests, containing 20 questions from different
tests. Users can find the questions using the program and write them on the paper. A sheet
with answers of that particular test can be printed too.
Get to know the USA is a unique program that teaches you a great deal of the United
States: geography of states and cities, state flags, state general information (like
nickname, size, people, etc.), historic events during the centuries and all presidents
(complete with image).
You can add or edit data of the history section yourself. Open the file
HISTORY.LST in notepad. Then add years or events in this order:
year
event one
event two (optional)
event three (optional)
NOTE! Do not use comma's and do not add more then three events! Be sure to make a backup
before you start! This is the recommendation from the author. I did not test this portion
of the program, this is an option of choice, not included in the actual program.
You can evaluate the program as long as you like, but the nag screen pops up regularly,
quite often in fact. Enough to be quite annoying.
