Ladder Man III is a puzzle solving game in which
a tiny man with a ladder has to collect all the light bulbs
displayed onto the screen, in order to escape from a room. The
bulbs are variously located in the room, almost always out of
reach, unless you, using the gray cells of your brain, succeed in
catching the bulbs using your ladder and few other objects
scattered in the room. These objects are represented by walls,
fixed but eliminable using some TNT collected around, crates,
large gray boxes movable in every direction one grid a time, and
balloons, movable as well but, if pushed either up, left or
right, they keep on moving until they hit another object. There
are many obstacles, too. Water, crossed only by means of a ship,
laser beams, blocked either by an object or turned off by a
switch, gray walls (not boxes), one-way tracks blocked, once
ladder man pass on them, by electric poles. Finally, some (rare)
teleport devices, will help you in avoiding part of these
obstacles. Given these premises, the game works very well. It is
really addicting as the puzzles are, on the average, rather
difficult to solve. If you aren't able to solve a puzzle, don't
worry: the registered version, apart from 30 more puzzles to
solve, offers solutions for all.
