Download/HomepageLeapFTP is an extremely easy to use FTP program. You can use it to upload
and download files on an FTP site it even resumes the transfers if something goes wrong
and can disconnect from your ISP after the transfer is completed. You can edit the files
on a remote site, delete directories and its sub directories with one click, move remote
files, cache remote directory lists, perform multiple file chmod, enter custom commands,
and more. In other words it performs all the normal duties expected from a FTP program and
much more.
The interface is extremely easy to use but if you do need help this program has
context-sensitive help. The site manager is also easy to use and lets you put the sites
into groups. This program supports drag and drop, DDE/Scripting language, and Proxies
including SOCKS firewall. Some of my favorite features of this program is the ability to
stay connected when you are idle, the ability to minimize to system tray, and the ability
to create shortcuts that will open LeapFTP and automatically connect you to the site you
made the shortcut for.
I could go on and on about this program. It is so simple that a novice user can use it but
has so many features that a power user will be thrilled. It is definitely the best FTP
Program that I have seen yet. I suggest you take advantage of the 30 day evaluation period
to find out for yourself.
