Syndicate meets Lemmings in the all-new Lemmings Paintball from Psygnosis,
notable for many great games, including the classic Lemmings and Demolition Derby. The aim
is simple: capture the enemy flags, shoot down the enemy Lemmings while you're at it while
maneuvering a maze of sorts. Simple and effective. If you thought Syndicate was too
suspenseful for you, try this one - it's got the old Lemmings feel which everyone loves,
while preserving most of the action.
GRAPHICS This game runs in a window, since it is a Win 95 program;
running full-screen lowers the resolution somewhat, making it perhaps disappointingly
low-res but not unplayable. I liked the intro sequence - they rotoscoped clay figures of
lemmings. SOUND FX was effective enough, though it sounded slightly flat.
Music was good. CONTROL As with all other Lemmings games, this one uses the mouse. However
I found control rather tricky. More often than not you're going to be losing your agents
because you find out too late that you were controlling both -and one fell into the fire.
