MVP Backgammon is a great backgammon game. If you don't know how to play
backgammon it will teach you and if you do you can choose between beginner or intermediate
computer players or play against another human. The move menu offers Undo, Suggest, and
Show Last options. You can use the define players option so you don't have to anonymous
adding your name and choosing between 10 portraits set in medieval time.
There are several options that you can use to set up the game to suit your taste.
Preference allows you to set certain features to auto such as roll and pass. It also lets
you do things like choose when sound is being played, change music tracks (you have a
choice of 3), set the computer move speed, and change the fonts. Of course you have the
option of turn sound and/or music on or off.
This is great game. The sounds and graphics are outstanding. Some of the sounds made me
laugh like when the computer said "you got me". If you want to play an expert
computer opponent you have to register it. Other benefits of registering include single
game and tournament play, different board and stone graphics, different screen sizes, more
music and sound effects, a printed manual, and the options of wagering, doubling, and
manual dice. Definitely a game to check out.
