Download/HomepageMVP Spades is the classic 4 player spades card game that you can play as individuals or as teams. You can use the rules options to change the winning score, choose team play, allow spade lead on the first trick, setting bid minimum, and to allow nil bid or not and if so allow passing or not. The graphics and music are good. I do know how to play spades pretty well so am not sure if I am a good judge of this or not but the intermediate computer players seemed more like beginners to me. Another disappointment. There are other options available to customize the game to suit your taste. The only options disabled in the shareware version is card fronts, card backs, and display size. Other advantages of register are expert players, different card fronts, 16 card backs, more music, and a manual. I can't wait to get the registered version to see how the experts play myself.
