I don't often quote; but this one deserves it.
"OVERVIEW
The Psychedelic Screen Saver generates an endless variety of
mesmerizing patterns. As the patterns materialize on your screen,
the colors will shift, undulate, and generally speaking, look
cool. Whether you're into art, mathematics, or just have a
history of mental illness, you'll love this screen saver."
I don't know about you but that's half the reason I went to check
on this program; in carny talk, that was the hook, and now that I
did, I'm glad I did. This screen saver shares a lot of qualities
with Kinemorphic 3D. It is made to run with CD SpectrunPro3.2,
which is a spectrum analyzer [it displays the frequency spectra
without giving you any opportunity to adjust them.] It is a
separate program from the screen saver, so the registration price
is $20 each; but, if you register them together, then a bargain
we got for you, $30 for both.
Like Kinemorphic, take a lunch, 3 or 4 sharpened pencils, and a
new notebook along when you try to configure the screen saver.
There are 24 folder tabs, many with 2 pages each; with choices
like random, oscillate, volume, left, right, and several settings
of hz.
I've got to tell you, I have no idea at all what I'm doing when I
play in the configuration, and by the time I get to one spot, I'm
so dazed by the graphics, I forgot what I did 2 minutes ago; BUT,
I'm having a great time and these programs are fantastic.
I just have one problem now. With both Kinemorphic 3D, and this
wonderfully wicked Psychedelic screen saver, I can't figure out
which one to watch. Why do I think I'm not going to get much work
done for a while.
Take the time to check it out anyway. If you don't like it, you
can toss it, directions tell, ya how, but I think once you see it
you'll be hooked, too.
