Prime Time Math is an educational math game for students in grades 7 - 12. That improves your skills with prime numbers, factoring, squares, cubes, remainders, fractions, percentages, algebra and logic. There are nine skill levels to choose from. Level One and Two is classify numbers with or without clues. Level Three and Four is numbers 1 to 10 word problems with or without clues. Level Five and Six is numbers 1 to 25 word problems with or without clues. Level Seven and Eight is numbers 1 to 100 word problems with or without clues. Level Nine is numbers 1 to 100 word problems fill in the blank.

Classify numbers gives you a number and you click all that apply from the choices of Odd, Prime, Cube, Even, Composite, and Square. Word Problems gives you problems like "The first sum of two non-consecutive odd prime numbers" with possible answers (7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 for this problem). You click on the correct answer (for this problem is 10). Fill in the blank is the same as the word problems except it don't give you possible answers. Hints have definitions of Even, Odd, Prime, and Composite numbers.

You have a choice of three types of games Ten Problem, Time Trial, and Combat Two Players. High scores are saved and you are given a rank according to your score. The ranks are Novice, Learner, Veteran, Calculator, Math Pro, Math Whiz, Math Genius, and Einstein. You are given your rank for both the present game and the average score of previous games completed. It offers positive reinforcement in the form of "Correct!!!" displayed in big red letters and a verbal "Correct". If you choose a wrong answer it will say "oh" and put a red X over the wrong answer then you choose another answer if that one is wrong also it will do the same thing until you click on the correct answer. The numbers are displayed in colorful boxes. There is also a pink box in the upper left corner that click to go on to the next problem.

I used to tutor in algebra and statistics when I was in college and can see where this program would definitely help improve your math skills and you math scores when you take the SAT. They have several other educational programs available at their web site. Teachers and Tutors can receive a free registered version for their school or tutoring center.
