workgroups transparently converting the document(s) to UNIX or Windows format so sharing
is easy.
It comes with a tutorial that takes about 10 minutes to go through. The tutor teaches you
how to add files to RCS, to check-in and check-out files, view revisions and convert to
old versions of the file among other things. It keeps a complete history of the changes
performed to files. Is great for programs, word processing documents, and html document.
It works on binary files.
In the workgroup environment it will let you know who does what and when, avoids 2 users
modifying the file at the same time, and lets you know when there is an update. It will
work on LAN, Corporate Wide Networks, Dial-up connections, and the Internet. All in all it
is a powerful and easy to use program.
