Rummy Challenge is a simplified form of the game of Gin Rummy. The object of the game is to select cards in books or suits of 3 or 4. A total of seven cards are dealt to begin the game. A "Heap" or discard pile is used to allow players to select or discard the cards. The player either draws from the deck or picks a card from the heap to add to the hand. The player then must discard one card. When the player rummies the cards are counted for points. Aces, are 15 points, face cards(King, Queen, Jack,10) are 10 points, and all other cards are 5 points. Two hundred points is the winning score.

The help files give the players instruction in the game and screen hints or errors appear to aid the players through the game. Scoring is done by the program to aid the game. The game is written very simply to allow easy learning for the beginners. Sound and graphics are adequate with changes for card backs available. The colors are average but could be clearer.
