it has sub categories so you can concentrate on specific areas. The major sub categories
are Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Australasia, and The World. Each
of these major sub categories includes their own categories such as Parts of the World,
World Flags, The US Large Cities, South America Capital Quiz, and so on. You can play the
game using the English or Swedish language.
You make your selection and it will give you the exercises according to your choice. The
map exercises and map exercises will name a place and you click on the right spot or flag.
You get three guesses before it will tell you the right answer. When you get the right
answer it will put the label (name) in the right spot. The color of the label lets you
easily tell how many guesses it took you before you got the right answer by color coding
such as a white label means you got the right answer the first time. The quiz exercises
ask you multiple choice questions.
The game is really easy to play I even learned some about geography and I am lousy in
geography. My nine year old enjoyed it also which means he will play it without being
pushed into it. The shareware version is limited to only certain map and flag exercises
and one quiz exercise. All in all I recommend this program to anybody who wishes to learn
geography or improve your geography knowledge.
