Win42 is a bidding game like bridge, spades, or pinochle except it is
played with dominoes. You can play the game against the computer or over the Internet. If
you don't know how to play the game the game will teach you as you go along or you can
read the help file. The main game window has a window that shows your dominoes and the
backs of the other players dominoes. The dominoes are played to the center by right
clicking, drag and drop, or the keyboard. The options let you configure the game to your
preferences. You can choose names for all the players under Player names and select the
colors you want for the Table Top, Domino Face, Domino Spots, Domino Outline, Highlighted
Domino, Highlighted Spots, Highlighted Outline and text (you have to register the program
to keep color changes) under colors. The Rules options lets you force dealer to bid or
reshuffle if everybody passes; Allow Plunge never, for two marks, or for four marks; Allow
Nell-O always, This is a great game that offers competitive play of experienced users and
a lot of help for beginners so that everybody should be satisfied. The shareware version
does not come with any specific evaluation period. It also come bundled with the Dominoes
game which installs at the same time into the same directory. You can register this
program via snail mail. You have to register each game separately or you can choose to get
the registration code for both Dominoes and Win42 for $25.00.
