WPrinter 2.0 is the new version of a great program making it, if possible, further greater. After installation all you get is a small icon (customizable and different for local and network printers) visible in the system tray. The icon is small, but is a gate toward a lot of features. Through it you can change the default printer only by a mouse click, the same if you want access to the original printer settings window. WPrinter allows you also to change the number of copies to be printed, or their orientation, all by means a simple click. No more printer or page properties searching for. If you share network printers or if you often work on a laptop, WPrinter has something for you, too. The "Smart Queue" option lets you accumulate print jobs keeping your printer offline; when you decide to start printing, just put the printer online and all your documents queued will be printed (the program will let you know when all the jobs are sent to the printer). If the job you queued doesn't satisfy you, you can purge it from your printer before putting it online. Local printers can usually only be paused (or vice versa), but not put offline. With WPrinter you'll be able to accomplish also this task. All these features come along with the Pro version of WPrinter, which is shareware. A freeware version (Lite) is offered, also. It maintains the different icons for local and network printers, the technical support, and the easy change of default printer and easy reach for the original printer setting window. Even with less features, it remains an excellent program..
