WSPE stands for Web Site Promoter Engine. It lets
you enter in the information about your web site and then select
the search engines you want it to be listed on and then upload
it. After it uploads your page's information to the search
engines it will give you a report of which ones were successful
and which ones weren't and why not. You can also save your web
site information to use at another time and save the reports.
Web site information includes Name, Email, Phone, Fax, Company,
Site Title, URL, Category (choose), Yahoo Category (choose),
Description, Street, City, State, Zip, and Country. The shareware
version has 10 search engines you can submit your web page to. It
also has tips about some of the engines. You can set the maximum
time for the Engine to Respond, choose Jupiter Soft Server 1 or
2, Enter a Proxy, and choose whether or not to have it report
errors during transmission.
The registered version allows you to update engine files which
will give you over 200 Search engines to submit. The registered
version also allows you free updates. All in all it is a very
nice program if you want to promote your web site.
