There are lots of screen savers and wallpaper utilities. Most come with
their own engines and images. WWSaver32 is something different. It is a versatile utility
which will accept images from a host of sources, even over a network, and turn the images
into wallpaper (WWPlus component) or full-screen images (WWSaver component). Images may be
on any disk in any directory and left there. The two programs work together so that at the
touch of a mouse your screen saver image becomes your wallpaper (wallpaper is the image
behind your folders). WW accepts .BMP, JPEG, TIF, TGA, PCX, RLE, GIF and even ICO. Images
may be sized to fit your screen or retain original shape. Display order, Gamma, associated
sound and much more are at your command. The program automatically compensates for screen
size, resolution, and color depth. It is very stable. Loaded with about one hundred of my
favorite images, WW built a 3MB data file and used 2MB of system memory.
Users who have beautiful images and want to display them will find the WW series just what
they have been looking for.
