DownloadXQuest2 is one damn addictive arcade game for the
PC, in which you move a cute little spaceship around the screen,
collecting crystals and power-ups, while avoiding or destroying
(with your trusty Super Kill-o-Zapper, of course;) a multitude of
obstacles and bad guys; including Grungers, Zingers, Meebies,
Retaliators, Terriers, Doingers, Snipes, Tribblers, Sticktights
and Repulsors to name but a few [gulp] !
It's just so well executed and altogether fun! The gameplay is
simple yet challenging, graphics are pleasing to the eye, and the
sound effects are of a suitably humorous nature, if a little, um,
tacky. What's more, it doesn't take up much space, and even works
fine on my old 286; therefore, I consider this little beauty to
be a "must download" !
