Well, the first time I entered the game, it put me through weapons
training, in which I lost all 3 of my ships-hard training. The next time I started the
game, I did not get the trainer, and could not figure out how to get it back.
I do notice that this time hitting F1 will bring up a small menu of control keys, but
other than that there is still no help file. The readme file deals briefly with the
control keys and then tells you the history of the galaxy you're fighting in. I don't
know, call me a sissy, but I would still like a little more help information, and less
history.
Firing is difficult, because your gun fires to the size, and while you can
"apparently" fly above the plane the enemy ships are on, there is more to it
than that, because it is too easy to get wasted doing that.
I also could find no information on what perks you would get for registering, except for
maybe more levels. I hate to sound like a sissy, yelling for help files, but when the
bullets gets to flying, it's too hard to figure out what action of yours got you in
trouble and which action benefited you. For instance, there is a lot of stuff falling from
the sky; and some of it is enemy bullets, and some will build up your armor, health or
ammo. Without a help file, I don't know what to try to avoid, and what to seek.
It may not sound like it, but I do enjoy this game, it is fun and the author has combined
2 classic games in a very unique fashion. Now if I could just get the feeling I knew what
I was doing, I would like it even more!
