The Game Empire is a vast collection of over 250 Shareware and Freeware
games. The library contains some of the all time classics like Duke Nukem 1 and 2,
Bladestone, Hugo House of Horrors I, II, and III, Commander Keen, Ken's Labyrinth, and
Chopper Commando. While the graphics and sound could be better, it is not really needed on
these original classic shareware hits.
The collection comes with an easy to use menu system that will allow you to run and
install games, and view the read me files for most of them. While this collection is of
classic hits, a lot of the games are useless 80's games that may not even run on a Pentium
system. Personally I loved this collection, but I think that Softkey needs to create a
game empire that is for friendly for today's Windows 9.x and Pentium users.
I do recommend this collection, but you may not be able to run some of the games on a fast
pentium system.
