The MPEG version allows such users to take advantage of MPEG technology with better, more detailed movie clips than in the standard (Video for Windows, AVI) version.

There are many THOUSANDS of articles and many, many pictures, movies, multimedia objects, activities, and even a game to play, all on one CD-ROM. Microsoft Encarta is the best encyclopedia available and I personally use, and recommend it.
