Well, I'm the big aviation nut at SharewareJunkies, and I couldn't
possibly pass up an opportunity to review this software. The Corel Super Ten Pack:
Aviation features Ten CD-ROM's with 100 high quality photos each of everything from
fighter jets to hot air balloons. Totaling 1000 photos, the Aviation Ten Pack is the best
thing in the world for the aviation buff.
There are 100 pics on each disc the discs are as follows, Aviation photography by Tony
Gasbarro, Fighter jets, Military Aircraft, classic aviation I, II, and III, Air Force,
Ballooning, Commercial Aircraft, and the last CD is called Aircraft. In the collection you
will find everything from the DC-10 to the F-14 Tomcat, to the Boeing 747 to the C-130,
and everything in between. I was surprised especially with the HIGH quality of the
graphics which are in PCD format. Each graphic is over 3MB, but you can easily convert
them to PCX, TIFF, BMP, or EPS, with the included software, and I found that I could
convert them to JPEG with my ACDSee software, (NOT INCLUDED.)
The Software that it comes with includes; Corel Screen Saver creator, Corel CD Audio,
Corel Mosaic Visual File Manager, Corel Photo CD Lab, Corel Draw, and Windows Wallpaper
flipper. While this software is great, I recommend a quick and fast viewer like CPIC or
ACDSee, both of which I have reviewed at Shareware Junkies.
The graphics are fully customizable and their Royalty-free so you can use them in desktop
publishing. I recommend this software for all aviation buffs like me, and it won't let you
down, even if you think you've seen everything.
