Well, no one can't say that Mace Software isn't keeping up with the times. They have come out with a new version of Hexx Wars, that while it has the same fun, the same nasty, smart-aleck computer opponent; but now there are several new features. Not only can you play against the computer, or a 2 person game; you can also play a network game [LAN], and you can also get into internet play, which is ICQ compatible. This feature has a handy chat window, and if you don't know of any other Hexx Wars ll players, Mace Software has a list of everyone that wants to play and has written. Contact them at http://www.hexxwars.com. The help files explain very well the differences in the different kinds of play and how to get started.

There are 12 boards, 3 in the shareware version, and the boards are much more futuristic. Even in the shareware version, you can see a thumbnail of what the boards you can't have will look like. They have an excellent set of help files, which if you know me, you know I'm real picky about bad help files. Nice sounds, cool music, they put a lot of thought into this upgrade.
