ImpressionX is a great graphics manipulation program. You supply the
images and use ImpressionX to clean them up, create ink or brush paintings, make black and
white line drawings or paint-by-number pictures. From there you can go on to anything.
I created some line drawings for my niece to color(you can resize) and fiddled around with
some religious images making them into paint-by-number for a children's Sunday School
class. You can make paintings into beautiful images for t-shirt transfers-I did some
wildlife in muted tones and in bright, sharp colors. And you can remove unwanted parts of
images without leaving a "hole" in the picture. This program even offers color
separation features to allow you to make templates for screen printing, stenciling, and
airbrushing.
Download and installation are simple and the instructions are easy enough for most
beginners to be able to use it. Every artist, crafter, and teacher needs this program. I
do a lot of crafts and this covers everything I could ever need to do with images. I can
turn any image into anything I need it for, from decorating a house with a repeating
motif, to making shirts, stenciling even the most difficult patterns, and crafts for kids
to just improving on my own photography or drawings. The uses are limitless.
