3D-LomTris is a tetris style game much like Welltris. You have 3
dimensional pieces falling from the top of the box and the object of the game is to flip
and rotate the pieces so that you form a solid flat layer. When a solid layer is formed it
is removed. To help determine the layer you are on the pieces are a different color for
each layer.
The falling pieces are just outlines and for me that made it difficult to see which way
the block was flipped but I got better at it the more I played. The controls are kind of
difficult to until you get used to them you use control cursor to rotate the piece and
shift cursor to flip it. You can use the arrow keys in place of the cursor. The other keys
aren't that hard but this game definitely requires 2 hands. All in all the longer I played
the more I liked the game.
This game requires DirectX to play it. There is a network game possible where you can play
with others and that is always a plus. The shareware version only allows you to play 2
levels by yourself and when networking. If you are looking for a challenging game that
grows on you the more you play then you should check it out.
