This collection of 7 games are all solitaire games, and they all relate to
poker. At first I didn't figure where they were getting this many poker related games, I
still don't know where they all came from, but, I must say that they are good. I generally
don't care for poker per se, but with the promise of being a solitaire combo I thought I'd
give it a try and I'm glad I did.
There is Poker Squares, where you deal cards one at a time to a 5 x 5 grid and try to make
the best hands, and Poker Shuffle, where you get to shuffle the cards around that 5 x 5
grid to make the best hands. There is Poker Elimination, which is a combination of the
first 2 games, you move the cards one at a time to the grid, you can't rearrange them till
all the stock is gone, but you can turn in hands after you build a good one. Turning in
the hands before the stock is gone nets you a bonus. Poker Puzzle is like the sliding tile
puzzles, with one square open, go ahead make a good hand I dare you. Poker Columns has
trouble with gravity, whatever column you click on the card falls to the bottom open
square. Poker Holdem is like video poker meeting solitaire for the first time, and with an
extra pack of cards in hand [it's a 2 deck game, ok?] Poker Yacht is the strange marriage
between poker and yahtzee.
The help files are written so as they can be understood, which I like. Help files aren't
easy to write, and for some reason solitaire help files are the worse. The games are fun,
and what's more they are different than the 'same old thing'. Hey the price is even
reasonable, what more could you want?
