This neat little program is easy to use, and can be up and running in minutes. It will take any BMP file and convert the picture into looking like different types of art, Oil Painting, Water Color, Gouache, Pastels, and Color Pencil. You can also scan any picture directly into the program. Nice change from just a copy of a photo to put in your news letter, card or whatever.

The shareware version lets you convert thirty pictures, is not crippled in any way, but does print the name of the program on your picture as a reminder that it is an unregistered copy, even with this it does give you a good idea of what the registered version would be like. Apparently version 2.4 will be coming out early next year.

This is a nice program for people who like to manipulate pictures, I have seen a few programs that have this conversion from Photo to Oil Painting but this one seems to do it much better and faster, of course like all graphic program lots of memory helps speed the process. All and all an excellent program, give it a try.
