Download/HomepageWin Brick 96 is an arcade clone of Breakout with more exciting levels and
improved features for the player. There are 120 levels and 20 scenarios in the registered
version which can give 2000 different levels to play. The program is very easy to install
and begin play. One or two players can play using joystick or mouse.
The player removes blocks using a ball and paddle to return the ball to hit another block.
Scores are kept for removing the blocks and bonuses for capturing items in the blocks.
Bombs, rockets, and paddle changes can be captured but not all items are beneficial. The
player moves to a new level upon completion of each level. The highest scores are kept for
competition and can be e mailed to the home page for competitions.
There is a 16 bit version for Win 3.1 and a 32 bit version for Windows 95/98/NT. This
review was written on the 16 bit version. The game is very exciting and provides enjoyment
for all ages. In the shareware version you only get to play 5 levels for the other levels
you have to register.
