Megapede is a revival of the game Centipede. The authors at Cheesy Software have added their latest insane attempt to improve an old game and make it more fun. The basic object of the game is to destroy the megapede before it destroys you. This is accomplished by shooting the sections of the critter and avoiding the other critters sent to add to the game like spiders. The megapede moves back and forth across the screen and down. Total destruction of the megapede takes the player to the next level. Points are added for the destruction of the items. A top twenty scores are kept for the hill of fame.

The program is another example of the improvement of an old game with newer graphics, sounds, and fx. Add a few select comments and new ideas and an even better old game is revived. The improvements are well worth the price. Free is a great bargain.
