This is the second of two hilarious screensavers offered by the Dutch insurance company
Centraal Beheer. (See also the Windhoos '98/Windstorm
saver also reviewed here.) In a take-off of the company's TV commercials, in which
something bizarely funny ends up in disaster, this screensaver gives you an bunch of pesky
varmits -- and of course your disastrous ending.
This saver has an interactive twist. I don't want to spoil the fun for you, but in case
you wonder what the heck's happening, here are two hints: (1) Take a look at your mouse
pointer, and just remember what gun-sights look like. Bang bang. (2) When the rat exacts
his revenge, just remember, it's only a hoax -- wait it out. Then if you feel queasy, just
move your mouse pointer again.
Rather than be panic stricken, you're still likely to fall off your chair (along with Aunt
Martha) in laughter. This saver is a riot.
