QV is an image viewer that allows you to scan and catalog all images on your hard drive -- then enhance, edit, or do format conversions within the program. So, as simple as QV is, this app really is much more than just a graphics viewer. It supports BMP, TIFF, JPEG, and GIF formats, and provides image capture and enhancement features (such as various special effects, borders, color enhancement, screen and scanner capture and more). QV has the look and feel of something you expect to pay for. No, it doesn't support all graphics formats out there, but it well serves everyday needs by supporting the four most widely used file types. If you're expecting a complete graphics editing package, go elsewhere. The feature-set of QV is aimed at organizing what graphics you have, then handling the most typical image enhancements. You may not need to go elsewhere all that often after all. Best thing is to try it yourself. The author welcomes users' comments (see Support below).
