Download/HomepageBoxes, "the original" is DynoTech's best selling game ever! Most
people overlook Boxes 1 and head straight for Boxes II or Boxes III. Given, the fact that
Boxes 1 has slightly lower quality graphics, less sound, and only one background MIDI
song, but Boxes is a fun, challenging, and very addictive arcade/puzzle game, and will go
down as one of the all time classics in puzzle game history.
The game runs very well, and the graphics are very good, but like normal, are of slightly
less quality than its sequels. The sound is Digital, and the music although is MIDI and
not digital, is the very relaxing Fur Elise playing in the background of the game. There
are several levels in this game also, and it will take a while before you are board of
this game, and despite the fact that this game was more than likely designed with Tetris
in mind, Boxes is much better, than Tetris.
Overall, the game has a nice feeling of play, and it's not too nerve racking either. If
you're looking for a nice arcade puzzler that will keep you busy for a while, Boxes is
definitely the game for you.
