Anyone who played computer games since the 80's knows about Duke Nukem.
That new VGA super hero with the cool lightning bolt laser gun and all those cool bad guys
and power-ups. Well Duke has grown up and joined the vast group of 3D games like Doom,
Quake, and Hexen. There's only one difference. When Duke has something on his mind, he
talks about it, in sometimes vulgar language.
Duke Nukem's weapons have changed. In Duke Nukem II people were amazed with rapid fire
guns. Now he's got a little more than a laser gun in his pocket. He's got a 45mm pistol, a
trusty shotgun, a radical chain gun, a nice little rocket launcher, some handy pipe bombs,
and a few more that are only available in the registered version. And when all else fails,
Duke can always kick his way out of things, which needless to say does not provide the
effectiveness that a rocket would.
Many people thought that Duke Nukem was a DOOM clone, a DOOM copy, a bad and false
impression of DOOM. Well now, let's just see about that. Duke Nukem is NOT a DOOM clone.
Duke Nukem is Doom's 1996 replacement, and while Doom is a great and classic game, Duke
Nukem is not a copy of it. The shareware version of Duke Nukem 3D allows you to explore
the first campaign. If you purchase the full version, which you probably will, you will
have more weapons, more bad guys, and many more levels at your disposal.
Do you like 3D games, and want to face a lot of monsters without getting the heck shot out
of you? Well then here's some cheat codes that will certainly help you in your quest. God
