Don't get this program mixed up with Lucas Arts' Tie Fighter Collector's
CD, this game is a freeware program made by starwars fan Bob Spidale. He created this
program as a Star Wars game where you are in a tie fighter, and you have to shoot down all
the other tie fighters. It's an ok game, but it lacks quality that games nowadays need.
There is no sound, and the graphics are not the best that i've seen. There's no animation,
and very little detail. All you have to do is click on the tie fighters and they
"blow up." It's another pointless wack-a-mole style game that's bound to make
you board after a while.
It runs very well, and it's free, so you might want to consider downloading this program
for the heck of it. Starwars fans should like the ability to shoot down Tie Fighters
without paying $20 for Lucas Arts' version. I'm not saying not to buy Lucas Art's version,
but Bob Spidale's Tie Fighter is free, and it's not the worst game in the world so you
might just want to try it out.
