Video Poker Plus is games of poker with options to play different games
and wild cards. The player can choose from Jacks or better, Dueces Wild, or Double Up. The
player has credits to play with which he bets prior to the hand. The number of credits you
bet will set different payoffs for different types of hands. The game has menus to choose
games, play buttons for the game window, and status windows. The play buttons are
deal/draw, Bet, hold/pick, and hold/discard all. The status window shows current game,
hand, credits, bet, and instructions. There is a select deck option available for new
decks.
The game of Jacks or Better is a standard game of Poker but the player must have a pair of
Jacks or better to win the hand. Dueces Wild is poker with the dueces representing any
card of the deck but you must get 3 of a kind to win. Double Up is rewarding double
credits for the winning hand you have to select high or low. The game menu also has save
game, open game, load last game, current game statistics, and exit. These are used to keep
a score, try various methods of play and compete with others. The program has sound
effects and video graphics to make the game more fun. The best part is you can't lose your
shirt or rent money.
