War Heads is a clone of the smash Atari hit Missile Command. The game runs
almost the same, but the graphics and sounds are completely different. The object is
simple, you have to aim at incoming missiles with the mouse and click to launch one of
your interceptor missiles to destroy the incoming missile. Simple.
The game runs pretty well, however, I did notice two minor bugs. The first time I played
the game, it could not load the MIDI music driver, and after that, it worked fine, and the
graphics and animations run pretty slow, and tend to stop, and slow down sometimes. Other
than that, there's not a lot of problems with the program itself.
The graphics and sounds are very good, but I liked the Arcade sounds in the Atari version
better. Overall, Missile Command is a great, classic arcade game, and War Heads is just as
good as the hundred other Missile Command clones out there. I recommend it.
