An instant web page of all your Internet Explorer or Netscape bookmarks is
yours in just 4 quick steps, with Bookmark Wizard. No, it's not another URL manager, but a
very neat tool that scans you entire Bookmarks/Favorites folder, and generates all the
HTML code needed to make a stand-alone web page. Just think of the time saved typing or
cutting-and-pasting URL lists by hand.
Merely point the Wizard at your Bookmark/Favorites folder path, tell it where you want the
HTML file output placed (default is Bookmark.htm being placed on your Desktop), choose
your desired page title, fonts, link and background colors -- and Bookmark Wizard does the
rest. In the blink of an eye, too!
The output HTML file is easily revised if needed , via Edit in Internet Explorer, or using
your favorite HTML editor. I found it imported fine. If you have a web page at your site
for favorite links, Bookmark Wizard will save your hours of work. And you'll stop feeling
the dread when it comes time to update.... now you can have your own Wizard do it all.
Bookmark Wizard does nothing but bookmarks, but it's free and it is a welcome new tool in
my personal arsenal of sanity savers. If you post a lot of bookmarks, give it a try. The
program comes with a nice installer, it takes up virtually no drive space, and the author
is a helpful sort who promptly answers questions by email.
