Chess marvel is windows based chess game with the classic chess rules. The
game has different skill levers, but in the shareware version, only the Novice skill level
is implemented. The program runs very well on any system over a 486 w/ 50MHZ.
The program is easy to install, but you can only install to a certain directory, which
will clutter up your root (C:\) and eventually degrade your system's performance, to a
certain degree.
There is only one sound effect in the game, which is not really needed in a board game,
but in really great board games, good sounds are a requirement. The graphics are good, and
the pieces are two dimensional, and are highly detailed.
I recommend this game to someone who doesn't already have a chess game on their computer,
because if you have one chess game, then you don't need another.
