When I unzipped the file that I downloaded for Flags, I was shocked that
the game files were almost 24 megs, but the zip file was only 1.3MB. The quality of the
compression software used to make the achieve for the game was almost as impressive as the
game itself.
Flags is an educational game for 2 or more players on one system that deals with different
countries and their capitals. In the shareware version, you can get a taste of the game
with several questions from the game that deal with capitals of countries.
The game itself runs very well on most systems, but takes a little while to load. It is
very user friendly for even the newest (or most pathetic) computer user. To install the
program, all you need to do is download the zip file, and unzip it to any directory that
you choose. In the program, there is an encyclopedia like feature that includes
information, maps, and the flag of every country in the world! THis is something that
people would pay $50-$100 for, and it is on the shareware version!
I would have added some sound effects to the game, but it really doesn't need them.
Overall, the graphics are great, and I recommend this game for anyone who likes
educational software, especially schools.
