This wee little program has 2 different kinds of tetris in it and they are
both great. There are 6 levels of difficulty from beginner to Nitemare on Elmstreet for
both. The first game drops 3 small colored blocks [or hearts, or funny little birds]. The
right and left arrow moves it from side to side, the up arrow rotates it, and the down
arrow drops it fast, and a match of 3 rids you of those blocks. The second game drops all
kinds of shapes, the arrow keys are the same, and when you get a complete row you score
and the level drops.
At the beginner level, it is easy enough, clearing the whole field every so often, you
could start a kid on this. At the other end, well, let me tell you, rotating shapes so
they fit together is hard enough, but how about if there is 3 or 4 bars bouncing back and
forth, that change the orientation, of the shape everytime they hit it. If you do start to
get complacent, you can adjust the speed.
The registered version has 100 levels. The graphics are great, this is the neatest looking
tetris game I've ever seen.
