Quote for the Day can replace this somewhat boring feature by giving you a comedic quote
every time you start the program. It takes almost no time to run, so you can place it in
your startup folder in Program Manager or the Start Menu. Windows 3.1 users can also use
this program, because this piece of freeware comes with the 16 and 32 bit versions.
The program runs very well, and is very user friendly. All you have to do is unzip the
files to install the program, and the tech support is pretty good, but you may have a hard
time e-mailing the author outside of Australia, where he lives.
The only real problem is that in 32 bit mode, the setup feature does not work, and you
will have to terminate the program if you click on setup. Other than that, Quote for the
Day is a funny, fast, and small program that should be a welcome replacement to the tip of
the day in windows.
