Download/HomepageThis game is a cartoonish version of the original Raptor, [not to be
confused with the flight sim F-22 Raptor]. You have a lil spaceship, and you fly back and
forth, across the screen, shooting everything in sight. This is an arcade type game.
Unfortunately, this game has a problem. It seems to require a fairly high end video card.
I have a 2 1/2 year old computer, with a built-in 1 MB video DRAM chip, and it wouldn't
work on my computer. I was forced to take it over to my brother's house and computer in
order to do this review. [He, by the way, has a 4 MB Diamond Stealth video card] Just so
you know, and don't think that you blew up your computer, if it doesn't like your set up,
all you will get is the pretty mosaic screen, as the picture flies back and forth, so fast
you can't seen nothing. At that point, ctrl, alt, delete would not restart the computer; I
had to do a cold boot.
I went to the company's website, and they acknowledged there was a problem, [said
sometimes shutting the monitor off and on might work-didn't work for me!] and said they
were working on a patch to fix this, but at this time they hadn't come up with one yet.
