OK, technically this isn't a shareware program -- but if you're a shareware fanatic, chances are, you collect tons of files and maybe like to share them with friends too.

FreeDrive is a free web-based FTP and file storage service, allowing you to use it for up to 7.5M of "hard drive" storage space. You can upload, download, and share your drivespace with friends.

This service is GREAT if you share a PC. Maybe you're afraid to save things on your hard drive at work or school? Or do you need to share your files with someone outside the office? FreeDrive is a convenient and safe alternative, and it sure beats having to share files via huge email attachments (which some ISPs set a size limit on too). You just sign up, with username and password, so it's completely secure.

File uploads can be done with almost all Netscape browsers and Internet Explorer 4.0 . Specifically, if your browser is Internet Explorer 3.9 or less, you will have to upgrade in order to upload files to your FreeDrive.

And if you need more disk space or want more FreeDrive features, go to the FreeDrive Parts Department at the FreeDrive website. If your local hard drive is full-up, your FTP site stuffed to capacity (or your provider will start charging you more) -- FreeDrive is worth checking out!
