At first I thought this was going to be a tetris game, but I was
definitely wrong there. You will see tetris looking pieces on the right of the screen, but
they don't fall, you have to put them in the grid. The idea is to make rectangles of a
certain size, [the size veries according to what level of skill you are playing] and when
you do, it will disappear along with all the touching pieces of the same color. You can
see 3 pieces ahead even though you can only touch the next piece, and the game ends when
you can't put any more pieces of the grid. There are 4 skill levels; easy, standard,
twisty, and patch. In the 2nd 2 levels the pieces get more conplex, strangeer you might
say. You can also design your own levels. However, the shareware version has a limit of
100 points on user levels, and 600 on premade levels.
This is one of those wicked little games, it looks easy, and if you start out on the easy
level long enough to learn-well it is easy. SUCKER! That is, of course, what will happen
to you right after you get the rules down, play 1 or 2 levels of easy, and reach for that
skill level button. The other 3 levels will promptly knock that swollen head RIGHT back
down to size! [yes, I haven't won a game since I stopped playing on easy-how did you know
that?]
Download this game and give it a try, but don't forget to call out for pizza or something,
cause dinner time will come and go while you sit there, saying 'just one more time-this
can't be this hard-it looks SOOOO easy!'
