GView is a program that allows you to view JPG, GIF, BMP, PXE, TIF, and
TGA extensions. Can be launched from a DOS window in Windows 95/98. Once found, the
graphics files can be viewed with varying options. You can cut, copy, paste, rename, and
change extensions. You can even set up a slide show of your images and set the time to
change each image, i.e. 5 sec, 10 sec, etc.
The only real drawback I found was the lack of a search function. This is partially made
up on the ability of the program to look within a specific directory and gathers all the
graphic files in that directory. Since all directories are listed on the viewing page you
just click which directory you would like to look in.
