Maze Escape is a game of skill and strategy with different maze
configurations for each level. The player moves through a maze filled with snakes and
cannons. The player cannot cross their path or they will be trapped ending the attempt for
the level. The snakes can bite the player or the cannon fires and ends the players attempt
to clear the maze. Arrows will kill the snakes and the player can collect the treasure
scoring points. The walls fall as the player moves through the area and can trap the
player and they must begin again. Each level is more difficult with new mazes and more
difficult traps and puzzles to solve. One or two players can play at the same time.
This is a small program with many features. The user can create their own maze levels and
compete for the highest scores. Scores for the top ten are kept in the Hall of Fame. The
program loads and runs smooth with no problems. The graphics are okay and the sound is
music can be changed in the options. There is a 30 day trial period. Registering allows
you to play all 20 levels and includes a level editor for making your own mazes. Those
wanting to play the 16 bit Win 3.1 version needs to go to the home page and download that
version.
