Canopus is a Windows text editor. It prides itself as a compact, lightning fast and a full 32bit program. I have to go along with all these claims. In fact, if you looking to replace Notepad, then Canopus is a very able program. However, I can't recommend it at this price. If was $10 I'd still have my doubts, as there are far better featured programs out there on the net. 
If you want a very fast text editor, or have a low spec machine, then Canopus might be what you're looking for. But, if I were you, I'd look elsewhere before parting with my money.
