Can you make your own screen savers? Sure you can! This program will walk you through the whole process of adding image and audio files, making a screen saver that can be distributed-after you register the program that is. You can not distribute any screen savers during the trial period. There is only one price, no personal and professional prices.
It is very easy to use-up to the last step. You are given a list of files that need to be put in a temporary folder, so that you can zip the screen saver up. One of the files that will ALWAYS be necessary is install.exe-this is so that whoever gets this zipped screen saver can install it on their system. The help file is not very helpful, [there is only a FAQ file, with 7 questions] and nowhere does it tell you where to get something called install.exe.
Now I am sure that if you e-mail the company, they will tell you where to go. [everyone is always glad to tell me where to go!] But that isn't the point. There's probably a lot of places you could write and get this file, the point is that if this is a complete program, then either the file should be in the folder, or there should be a line or 2 devoted to it in a help file, as this particular file is too important.
There is password protection is available on all 3 operating systems. The users can change the settings on a screen saver you made, which I must admit, I didn't see anyplace that you could utilize any advanced options.
I have to say that while it was really easy to make a screen saver, [make it, not complete it], but I think that there is a few things that should be added to the next upgrade.
